Post Easter.

Or, a cure for the Easter Cute.

If you have overdosed on the holiday, perhaps a little Monty Python will cheer you. After all, one can only eat so many Peeps and chocolate bunnies, or watch small relatives in sticky bunny suits quest for brightly colored eggs.

“It’s just a harmless little bunny, isn’t it?”

I love it.

Happy haunts.

Hollywood takes on Pennywise the clown.

Stephen King’s “It” is one of the creepiest novel’s I’ve read.

Made into a mini-series in 1990, King’s story of kids fighting an ageless monster that stalks the town in cycles introduced perhaps the scariest clown ever: Tim Curry as Pennywise.

Now, Hollywood is taking a shot at this epic tale and iconic monster.

The Warner Brothers preview looks promising.  I can’t wait to see it.

Float on, everybody.

King Konged Again.

The original and every remake of King Kong has wowed me.

Now, we will see what Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Single Dads, Kings of Summer) does with a new story line and Samuel L. Jackson.

Coming in March: KING KONG, Skull Island.

John Goodman and John C. Riley, veteran actors who rarely disappoint, are also cast in this reboot.

I feel I must see this one to be fair to Peter Jackson, who, as we all know, follows this blog and knows I have pointed out several weaknesses in his epic and awesome version of Kong. Sorry, Peter. You know Jack Black was miscast or misdirected in the part and several of the CGI monster attacks ran too long.

See you in the theater.

End.
